"After traveling for several months in the Yukon and Alaska, we came upon this park on our way to Stewart/Hyder. The minute the park came into view, my mouth fell open. Kinda like the scene in the Wizard of Oz when it goes to color. Beautiful, mowed green grass , and level clean gravel large tiered spaces with a view of the mountains and lake that was breathtaking. Our registration was friendly and very informative. A delightful short walking trail to the lake where I got a great photo of a Golden Eagle.
The bath house was very clean.
We were in a small travel trailer, but if you have a big rig,
this is the stop for you!"
"Have traveled from Colorado 14,000 miles and found, Without question, the best kept camp in all ways...Everything is immaculate, the owner’s lovely, the views wonderful."
"Wonderful park, site condition, view and we have never seen a Moose at any other RV park.Thank you!!! God Bless!!"
"What a gem in the middle of nowhere. This campground is meticulously maintained, the grass is like at a golf course"
"If you like quiet, you'll like this park. Located about half a mile off the highway, this park looks new because it enjoys a regular and ongoing program of maintenance. The access road is well maintained and wide. The setting is beautiful with mountains to the west,a small lake, and surrounding forest. Thanks to the owners of this park for sharing the area with us."
"From Maine to Alaska and back, Mountain Shadow was tied for best campground."
"We were so impressed with the scrupulous cleanliness of this park,we stayed longer than planned. The owner-hosts were kind and welcoming, the views were really beautiful, wildlife abounds and it's quiet. There are smaller sites nestled in trees andsites large enough for big units. This is a place to unwind and relax."
"This is a great little park. Very well maintained and plenty big enough for our 45' coach. A very pleasant surprise out in the middle of nowhere. They had good Wi-Fi, a good sanitation dump.
One of the best campgrounds in northern BC."
